WIDA assessments for English Language Learners (ELLs) begin on January 27, 2026. This assessment is an important opportunity for students to demonstrate their progress in developing their English language skills.
To help your child do their best, please ensure they get at least 9 hours of sleep and eat a good breakfast on assessment days. Thank you for your support in helping our students succeed!

iPads and Chromebooks were sent home with each student earlier today. We will not have in-person learning in the schools, but students are expected to connect to their Canvas account from home for assignments and learning resources. They have practiced this at school and know what is expected of them.

The forecast for the week is looking very cold! Please be sure your child comes to school dressed warmly with coats, hats, and gloves. Even if we are unable to have outdoor recess, we want all students to be warm and safe while traveling to and from school.

For the safety of all students, families, and staff, please remember that students must be dropped off at the curb only during arrival. Stopping in the street or letting children out away from the curb creates a dangerous situation for everyone.
Thank you for pulling all the way up to the curb, having students ready to exit quickly, and helping us keep our arrival time safe and smooth. We appreciate your partnership in keeping our students safe! 💛
